Weitong Zhang is an assistant professor in the School of Data Science and Society. He joined after completing his Ph.D. in computer science at the University of California, Los Angeles. His research interests include developing robust and efficient reinforcement learning and other machine learning algorithms, applying cutting-edge machine learning techniques to scientific discoveries and providing theoretical justifications and confidence for these applications.
