Lauren Kucirka has joined the faculty in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, division of maternal-fetal medicine in the School of Medicine, with a secondary appointment in the School of Data Science and Society. Kucirka is a practicing maternal-fetal medicine physician and a Ph.D.-trained epidemiologist with more than 15 years of experience designing and conducting large data studies to inform clinical practice.
