Chudi Zhong is an assistant professor at the School of Data Science and Society and has a joint appointment in statistics and operations research in the College of Arts & Sciences. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Duke University in 2024. Her research lies at the intersection of machine learning, optimization and human-model interaction. Specifically, she focuses on developing interpretable machine learning algorithms and pipelines to facilitate high-stakes decision-making.
